Role Overview

The Business Performance Analyst Consultant will support the design and implementation of enterprise performance management initiatives within the Operational Excellence team. This role partners with business leaders to define KPIs, analyze performance data, improve business processes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that support organizational goals.

Pay Range: $55 to $70 Hourly

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, mostly remote

Location: Charlotte, Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Nashville, Miami, or Dallas

Travel: Minimal travel may be required (approximately 15–20%)

Key Responsibilities

• Map and evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and refine KPIs, performance measures, targets, and reporting frameworks.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and leadership presentations that support data-driven decision-making.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving sessions and recommend process improvements.
• Support enterprise performance management, integrated business planning, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to establish consistent measurement practices, governance, and accountability.
• Track improvement initiatives and evaluate results against established performance targets.
• Support change adoption through stakeholder communication, process documentation, and implementation guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in business process improvement, performance management, business analytics, operational excellence, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience defining KPIs, developing performance measures, and analyzing business data.
• Strong process mapping, documentation, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Experience with business intelligence, dashboarding, or data visualization tools.
• Strong communication and consulting skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and present recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and translate complex findings into practical business solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, analytics, operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise performance management, integrated business planning, or strategic performance initiatives.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or process architecture methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, performance management systems, or business intelligence solutions.
