Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our educational team at Pratt High School. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for mathematics and foster critical thinking skills. This full-time position requires a commitment to providing high-quality instruction and support to students, ensuring they achieve their academic goals and are prepared for future challenges.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and state standards.
- Teach a variety of math courses, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, to students in grades 9-12.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and faculty regarding student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that promote student engagement.
- Support students in developing problem-solving skills and a growth mindset towards learning mathematics.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for high school level.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and ability to teach various math subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- Experience with differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to fostering a positive school culture and promoting student success.
- Previous teaching experience in a high school setting is preferred but not required.
