As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and documentation. You'll provide critical support to the diagnostic process while delivering compassionate and professional care.
As a Phlebotomist, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
The ideal candidate must have two years of experience, preferred as a Phlebotomist. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and hold the CPT National Certification. State licensure may be required.
Phlebotomists should have excellent manual dexterity, be able to stand or walk for long periods, and maintain professionalism in high-volume or high-stress environments.
Requirements*: BLS, NHA (CPT), 1 Year * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
